Resucitaré (Reborn) is a documentary asking a simple question: what is the legacy of St. Oscar Romero in El Salvador? From the deadly streets of the capital to the remote countryside, young and old ponder whether Latin America's Saint has been forgotten in a country laden with corruption, poverty, and violence. This documentary was realized in the context of the project ‘[Romero: Memory]. Activating Heritage of International Solidarity’, an interdisciplinary collaboration between KADOC-KU Leuven and the Faculties of Law, Theology and Religious Studies and Social Sciences of the KU Leuven. The screening is followed by a dialogue between the director and Central America expert Joren Janssens (KU Leuven, History).
