De zomer van 1957 belooft de meest uitdagende periode te worden in het leven van Enzo Ferrari. De Italiaanse automagnaat rouwt om de dood van zijn zoon Dino, ziet zijn huwelijk steil bergafwaarts gaan en worstelt met het aanvaarden van zijn tweede, buitenechtelijke zoon. Bovendien gaat het niet goed met het bedrijf. Enzo ziet nog maar één uitweg om zijn wagens aan de man te krijgen. Hij zet alles in op de Mille Miglia, een beruchte race-wedstrijd van 1000 mijl doorheen Italië.
The summer of 1957 promises to be the most challenging period in the life of Enzo Ferrari's. The Italian automaker is mourning the death of his son Dino, facing a severe marriage crisis and struggling to accept his second, illegitimate son. Moreover, the company is not doing well. Enzo sees only one way out left to sell his cars. He bets everything on the Mille Miglia, an infamous 1,000-mile race-race across the Italian countryside.
