WHO ARE WE?
Cinema ZED is a cinema theatre that it situated in arts centre STUK. Every month it presents an extraordinarily diverse mix of films. Ranging from current thematic series and outstanding recent releases to film classics, short films, documentaries and films with a live music score, nothing is off limits. As a theatre, ZED greatly expands the regional film offer. Its main focus is on films from the non-commercial circuit. Each month sees a new program, which always consists of between 5 and 7 film series, each with its own theme.
When?
Cinema ZED is open every day, 7 days a week, and offers at least two screenings per evening: Mon/Tues/Wed/Sun 5, 8 andand 10.30 p.m.., Thu/Fri/Sat 8 & 10.30 p.m. Sunday and Wednesday afternoons are reserved for screenings of youth films at 3 p.m.. During events, such as one of the many film festivals hosted at ZED, there are screenings during the daytime as well.

Our folder can also be downloaded (see box on the left side of this page).For the moment, all communication is only in Dutch, but on the website, on the detailed film pages, you will find links to English reviews. In addition, we also provide the film’s trailer, if available.

TICKET PRICES AND DISCOUNTS
Regular price: 5,5 euro/ticket.
There are several discount formulas:
-GROUP DISCOUNTS are given to groups of 15 people or more. Each person then pays 4 euro for regular film screenings
-The ZESXZED CARD is valid only for Cinema ZED. The card costs is yours for 27 euro and contains 6 tickets. The card is not strictly personal, and can be shared. It is only available for purchase at the STUK reception.
-ZED’s FILMFREAK CARD, at a mere 100 euro and allows access to all of screenings for one year. In other words, real film freaks only pay a fraction for each visit to our cinema. The card is valid from the day of purchase onward. The card is strictly personal. ZED’s Film Freak Card can be purchased at the STUK reception desk. Remember to bring a small passport photo!
-The STUK MEMBERSHIP CARD gives you a discount for all STUK events, for the duration of one year. The card is available for theprice of €10 at the STUK reception desk. Remember to bring a small passport photo!.

RESERVATIONS
Reservations are limited to “special screenings” or events. On the rare occasions when reservations are accepted, this will be clearly marked in the ZED folder and on this website.
How do I make a reservation?
- Drop by the STUK Reception (Naamsestraat 96 - Leuven, every week day between 11 a.m. and 10.30 p.m. Saturday and Bank Holidays from 7.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.. Sunday from 2 – 6 p.m. and 7 – 10.30 p.m..).
