In 1969 keerde Elvis Presley terug naar het podium, om aan een legendarische residentie in Las Vegas te beginnen. 40 jaar lang waren er geruchten over beeldmateriaal dat was verloren gegaan. Tijdens de productie van Baz Lurhmans film Elvis (2022) werd het teruggevonden. Dit en ander beeldmateriaal plaatst de ultieme king of rock-'n-roll opnieuw zelf in de schijnwerpers.
In 1969, Elvis Presley returned to the stage to begin a legendary residency in Las Vegas. For 40 years, there were rumors about footage that had been lost. During the production of Baz Luhrmann's film Elvis (2022), it was rediscovered. This and other footage puts the ultimate king of rock ‘n’ roll back in the spotlight.

It is no secret that Baz Luhrman (Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby, Elvis) can conjure up exuberant and opulent magic on the big screen. So who better to get to work with the unknown footage he found while researching his award-winning biopic Elvis? Through interviews, Elvis Presley tells his story in his own words, reinforced by restored images of stunning quality... and, of course, lots of music.
