Northern Soul: Twiggy The Woman Behind the Icon
Het is weer tijd voor het feestje van het jaar! In deze editie van Northern Soul duiken we diep in het leven van Lesley Lawson - beter bekend onder haar bijnaam Twiggy - en haar inspirerende reis van working class-kind in Noord-West-Londen tot haar doorbraak als internationaal model en haar daaropvolgende carrière als acteur, zanger, modeontwerper, schrijver en tv-presentator. Haar verhaal wordt mede verteld door goede vriend Paul McCartney en zijn dochter Stella McCartney.
It's time for the party of the year! In this edition of Northern Soul, we delve deep into the life of Lesley Lawson—better known by her nickname Twiggy—and her inspiring journey from working-class child in North West London to her breakthrough as an international model and her subsequent career as an actor, singer, fashion designer, writer, and TV presenter. Her story is told in part by her good friend Paul McCartney and his daughter Stella McCartney.

Leuven Northern Soul is a collective that has been organizing parties with a strictly sixties flavor since 1992. (Northern) Soul, R&B, and Ska are the main genres on the menu. Only 100% original 45s vinyl are played. LNS is now part of a network that organizes similar parties all over the world, from London to Bangkok, from Chicago to Leuven. During this edition, Phil Well (Weymouth Soul Club UK) is one of the guest DJs who will be spinning the black gold.

LNS is ondertussen een onderdeel van een netwerk dat over de hele wereld gelijkaardige party's organiseert, van Londen tot Bangkok, van Chicago tot Leuven. Tijdens deze editie is o.a. Phil Well (Weymouth Soul Club UK) een van de gast-DJ's die zorgt voor het zwarte goud.
