Brigitte's Planet B - screening with English subtitles on November 22nd
What if change isn’t a threat, but a way to stay alive? Brigitte Baptiste, a Colombian ecologist, scientist, and trans icon, draws on her work and her own life to explore how everything is constantly changing: bodies, ecosystems, relationships, and our ideas about what is “natural.” The film takes us from Colombian jungles and family stories to queer ecology and the question of how we can navigate a changing world. Brigitte shows that what is sometimes considered deviant or unnatural can, in fact, be part of the richness of life. An intimate portrait of change, nature, and the freedom to not be confined.
